I’ve lost the mobile device I used for MailChimp.

This feature requires Admin user level or higher.

If you use an application to connect to your MailChimp account from a mobile device and lose the mobile device, you can remove that application from your list of Authorized Applications, or you can deactivate the API key used for it. Either of these actions will immediately revoke that application's access to your account.


Below, you'll learn how to remove an application from your account and deactivate your API key.

Remove an Application from Your Account

  1. Click your profile name to expand the Account Panel, and click Account.
  2. Click the Extras drop-down menu and choose API keys.
  3. Under Authorized applications, click the x next to the application you need to disable.

Disable Your API Key

You can also disable the API key used by that device or application.

We suggest that you label each of your API keys for each device or application that connects to your account via the API, so you can easily revoke access if something happens to that device.
