Pricing for International, non-U.S., and Other Currencies

MailChimp will accept payments made in several currencies. Our international pricing page uses a currency conversion tool to show you the current exchange rates.

How Exchange Rates Are Calculated

If you choose to pay in a currency other than U.S. dollar (USD), we'll convert payment amounts based on the exchange rates from Chase Paymentech. Additional fees may be charged by your credit card or bank for cross-border transactions. None of these fees are received by MailChimp or are the liability of MailChimp.

If you're on a Monthly Plan, billing is automatic on the same day each month according to your start date, and your fees are recalculated based on the exchange rate at the time of each transaction. For Pay As You Go orders, currency conversions correspond to the international exchange rate at the time of purchase. You can change your default billing currency at any time on the Billing page in your account.

How Value-Added Tax Works

MailChimp is a non-EU provider and we do not have value-added tax (VAT) registration, so VAT will not be applied to any MailChimp invoices. Your business should take account of VAT using a "reverse charge basis." In other words, your business will self-assess the VAT liability associated with the MailChimp service purchase in your VAT return.
