Pricing for International, non-U.S., and Other Currencies

MailChimp will accept payments made in several currencies. Our international pricing page uses a currency conversion tool to show you the current exchange rates.

How Exchange Rates Are Calculated

If you choose to pay in a currency other than U.S. dollar (USD), we'll convert payment amounts based on the exchange rates from Chase Paymentech. Additional fees may be charged by your credit card or bank for cross-border transactions. None of these fees are received by MailChimp or are the liability of MailChimp.

If you're on a Monthly Plan, billing is automatic on the same day each month according to your start date, and your fees are recalculated based on the exchange rate at the time of each transaction. For Pay As You Go orders, currency conversions correspond to the international exchange rate at the time of purchase. You can change your default billing currency at any time on the Billing page in your account.

Value-Added Tax and MailChimp

MailChimp is a non-EU provider without a value-added tax (VAT) registration, so we don’t apply VAT to our invoices. To account for this, add a reverse charge to your VAT return that covers the missing tax.

If you need to display your company’s VAT or TAX ID on your MailChimp receipts and invoices for accounting purposes, add it to the billing contact information in your account.
