We know that you care about your campaign's performance. We understand that sending out engaging campaigns, that produce great results, is important to you. It's important to us as well.
We closely monitor the results of your campaigns and, when we see things that could cause your account reputation to be affected, we want to notify you. If you have been directed to this page, your account has been suspended due to high bounce rates. Bounces are emails that are returned to the sender, because they cannot be delivered for a given reason. ISPs closely monitor how many bounces occur. If an ISP sees too many of these bounces, it can lead to deliverability issues for your account and other MailChimp users' accounts. Because of the high number of bounces against your campaign, we have shut down your account to review the incident. ISPs and anti-spam organizations require account suspension, during the investigation, to prevent further damage. Because the account is shut down, you will be unable to send campaigns, but all other interaction with the application should continue to work (logging in, API requests, etc). We understand you have a business to run and we are not trying to impede your business in anyway, but we are required to take precautionary steps during the investigation.
When an account is shut down, we send an email to the account's contact email address that will briefly explain the issue and direct you to login to your account for further clarification and steps to resolve the matter. We ask that you follow the steps outlined, once you login to the account and provide as much information as possible, because the ISPs and anti-spam organizations are threatening to blacklist us, unless we provide details into the matter. A full review of the incident will proceed, once we have the requested information from you. If we do not receive enough information, it will take us longer to finish the review.
