If someone forwards an email, it would be tracked under total opens & clicks as long as the tracker code isn't broken when forwarded. Some email clients don't handle forwarding well and could mangle the code when resending.
The unique open count would only apply to the original recipient opening the email, not to forwarded recipients.
For privacy reasons, we cannot track whom your recipients may have forwarded it to.
The notation in your reports for "forwards" is the number of times the forward to a friend form was used.
