If you'd like to manually unsubscribe email addresses from your list, there are a few different ways to do that. Below we'll walk you through the different options available to remove an address from your active send list.

When an email address is unsubscribed from your list we store the address in the unsubscribed section, so that you can never accidentally add that person back to this list. The only way that subscriber can get back onto your list is through completing the double opt-in process again, themselves.
Manually unsubscribe a single address
- Navigate to the Lists page.
- Click the View drop down and select Subscribers for the list that your subscriber is on.
- Use the Search Subscribers box. You can use our search function to quickly pull up the address that you want to unsubscribe.

- When you enter the person's email address click the orange link to open their profile.
- Click the Unsubscribe button.

Remove through copy and paste
If you have a global unsubscribe list, it's best to use this method for batch unsubscribing:
- Navigate to the Lists page.
- Click on the Gear drop down and select the Unsubscribe option under the Subscribers header for the list you're working with.
- Type in or Copy and Paste the email addresses you would like to unsubscribe.
- Click Unsubscribe.
Remove through Bulk Actions
If you're looking to unsubscribe a small handful of people, but don't have their email addresses in a separate file, use the steps below to remove them.
- Navigate to the Lists page.
- Click the View drop down for the list your subscribers are currently on and select Subscribers.
- Mark the email addresses that you would like to unsubscribe using the checkboxes in the far left column.
- Click on the Bulk Actions drop down menu and select Unsubscribe.

- Click the Confirm button to finish the unsubscribe process.
- Once finished we'll display a success message for a moment to let you know the action was complete.
Note
- When an address is manually unsubscribed from your list we will not send them a confirmation email or unsubscribe notice.
- If there's an active autoresponder or a recently-sent campaign for the list, the list can't be deleted for seven (7) days following the last campaign send. Lists are required to remain in the account for seven days following the sending of a campaign or autoresponder to ensure that subscribers have time to unsubscribe and reports can be collected. During this seven day period, the bulk actions to delete subscribers and move to list will be disabled.
