All of our video merge tags include an option to specify the width of the screenshot. Just specify the width you want by using the $max_width parameter. Here's an example with the YouTube merge tag and a width of 250 pixels (you'd replace XXX with your video id):

*|YOUTUBE:[$vid=XXX, $max_width=250]|*

The maximum width that can be specified for screenshots is 450 pixels, and you can only use max_width to make the screenshot smaller than the original. If the specified width is larger than the original screenshot or larger than 450 pixels, it'll be ignored.
