To delete a group option (group name), follow these steps in your account:
- Go to the Lists Tab.
- Click on view list for the list you want to work with.
- On your list dashboard, select groups.
- Click on view groups to see a particular group's details.
- Click delete for the Group Name you'd like to remove
- Confirm that you want to delete the Group. Once you choose to delete a group, it's permanent. All of the Group data on your list will be permanently deleted. For example, if you had a Cat Lover group and Dog Lover group and choose to delete your Cat group - your subscribers would remain, but your list would not contain information letting you know that who was a cat lover.
If you want to remove a Group Title altogether:
- Go to the Lists Tab.
- Click on view list for the list you want to work with.
- On your list dashboard, select groups.
- Click on delete to the right of the Group title that you'd like to remove.
- Confirm that you want to delete the Group. Again, once you choose to delete a group, it's permanent. All of the Group data on your list will be permanently deleted.
