With our optional SocialPro add-on, you can get information about your subscribers including whether they're on certain social networking sites. This information can then be used to send special Facebook-only or Twitter-only specials, or to invite people who aren't on those sites to join you!
Activate SocialPro
Before you get started, make sure you have SocialPro activated for the list. This is a paid feature (per list) and can be found under Account > Add-Ons.
After you've enabled SocialPro, give the system anywhere between 24 hours and a week to populate the SocialPro data for your subscribers. We'll check the various social networks for members using the same email addresses as appear on your list and report it back in your account.
Viewing Social Information for Your List
Once the SocialPro data is populated:
- Go to the Lists page in your account.
- Click on view for the list you want to see.

- Under the Stats drop down, select SocialPro to go to the SocialPro dashboard.

Sending to Subscribers on Certain Networks from the SocialPro Dashboard
On the SocialPro dashboard, you'll see a breakdown of your list by the different social networks. This information gives you the percentages of people on your list who use Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Flickr and MySpace. If you're ready to send to people on a specific social network:
- Click the send to this segment link under one of the social network heading to bring up the segment of your subscribers who are on that network.

- Choose the type of campaign you'd like to send.
- Once you've chosen your campaign type, we'll go ahead and set up the segment on the step where you choose your list.
- From there, you can work on your campaign as usual.
Sending to Subscribers on Certain Networks for an Existing Campaign
If you've got an existing campaign, or want to use more criteria, just set up your segment in the Recipients step of the Campaign Builder.

Notes
It's important while we are able to pull in the percentages of your subscribers that are active on the various social networks, this does not necessarily mean that they follow you or are a fan/friend on these networks.
