The campaign preview report shows you what your email will look like in the most commonly used email programs. It's nice way to quickly make sure your campaign will render properly in all the major programs.
Here's what you want to look for:
- If your images are turned off, will people still get the gist of your message?
- Does your message appear "above the scroll" in all the email programs, or are you forcing people to scroll down just to read your content? Note: You can click any thumbnail to zoom in and see exactly where the "email fold" is on a 1024x768 screen.
- Most people view email in their preview pane, and don't bother opening your message at "full screen." Take a look at these preview screens, and see if your logo gets cut off, or if key portions of your content gets cut off.
- Some email programs will block your images if they think the email is spam.
- If you want, you can print a report of all the screenshots (for you or your client). Hint: if you have the ability, you might print it as a PDF instead of using up a lot of ink and paper.
