Use Image Group Content Blocks

This feature requires Author user level or higher.

The Image Group content block allows you to add two to five images within a content block. You can include multiple Image Group content blocks in your campaign layout, but keep our image requirements in mind so your campaign displays as expected in recipients’ inboxes.

If you need to include only one image, use an Image block . To include a caption with an image, choose Image Card or Image + Caption instead.

Insert an Image Group Block

  1. Navigate to the Design step of the Campaign Builder.
  2. Click and drag the Image Group block into your campaign layout.

    By default, the block will have two areas to upload images.
  3. Drag and drop an image from your computer into either area. You can also click the Browse button to pull up the File Manager, where you can upload a new image, select one you previously uploaded, or import one from a web address.

  4. When the upload is complete or an existing image in the File Manager is selected, your image is automatically inserted in the block, and you’re returned to the layout editor.

Edit, add additional images, and change Settings for the Image Group block

  1. Navigate to the Design step of the Campaign Builder.
  2. Click the Image Group block you want to edit to bring up the editing window.
  3. On the Content tab, you can select to Replace an image, Edit an image in Photo Editor, Link an image to a website or a file for download, and add Alt text, for screen readers.

    Select the Add Another Image button to include additional images. You can have up to five images.

  4. On the Settings tab, you can change the image layout for the block.

    Choose the layout you want. The number of image layout options will depend on how many images you have in the Image Group block.
  5. Select Save & Close to confirm changes and return to the layout editor.

Change the order of images

  1. Click the Image Group block in your layout that you want to edit.
  2. On the content tab, select and drag the item handle to the left of an image to move the images into your preferred order.

    A black line will appear above or below images to show where the image will be placed when dropped.
  3. When the images are in the order you want, click Save & Close to return to the layout editor.

Fix image proportions

If images that are next to each other in a layout are different sizes, you will see a prompt in the editor window under the larger image. To change the proportions, follow these steps.

  1. Select Let’s fix it to bring up the image editor. We’ll automatically create a selection to crop the image to the correct proportions.
  2. Move the position of the cropping window to where you want it by clicking and dragging.

  3. Select Apply to crop the image and return to the layout editor.
