Use Tweet Trends to See Subscribers’ Activity
This feature requires Manager user level or higher.
Tweet Trends allows you to see a detailed overview of your subscribers' Twitter activity, and includes how many of your subscribers follow you, who's mentioned you, and more.
Before Tweet Trends data can populate for a list, the Twitter integration must be set up for your account and at least one campaign needs to have sent to the list.
In this article, you'll learn how to set up Tweet Trends and how to view the Tweet Trends report for a list.
The API functionality that provides Tweet Trends data will soon be unavailable. Current Tweet Trend users may want to investigate Social Profiles or hire a MailChimp Expert to build a custom solution.
Set Up Tweet Trends
- Navigate to the Lists page and click the Stats button for the list you want to activate Tweet Trends for.
- Click the
Stats drop-down menu, and choose
Tweet Trends.

If you've already linked your MailChimp and Twitter accounts, click the Start Loading Data button to begin compiling your Twitter data.

If you haven't connected with Twitter yet, click the Connect button.

Sign in to Twitter, if needed, to authorize the connection. After you're connected, we'll begin loading your Twitter data automatically.
View Tweet Trends Report
The Tweet Trends stats give you a detailed overview of your subscribers' Twitter activity. Connect with your subscribers across multiple platforms to create a more engaged and interested list.
Overview
First, we'll show a quick breakdown of how many subscribers are on Twitter, and how many follow you.

Mentioned by Your Subscribers
If your subscribers are mentioning you on Twitter, you'll see up to 10 mentions shown here. This gives you a good idea of which followers are engaging with you on Twitter so you can better tailor information to your list.
Your Subscribers Follow
A list of Twitter accounts that your subscribers follow. You can see what other types of interests your subscribers have, or other local businesses they may frequent. See what others in your industry or field are talking about, partner with local businesses, or find events in your area that might interest your subscribers to expand your reach even further.

Hashtags Used by My Subscribers
What are your subscribers talking about? This gives you a list of Twitter hashtags that have been used recently in your subscribers' tweets. Keep an eye on what your Twitter followers are talking about to incorporate content into your campaigns that you know they're interested in or are already talking about.
Topics Trending Near You
Pulls in
trending topics near the location specified in your Twitter profile, so you can stay on top of local events, issues, or things of interest and connect with your subscribers on these topics. If most of your list subscribers are local, you can use this information to help keep them in the loop or to mention some hot local topics in your next campaign.

About Your Subscribers
Provides more detail about your subscribers, including the average number of followers, how long they've been on Twitter, how active they are (on average), and how many times they've been
Listed on Twitter.

- Tweet Trends information can't be exported or used to segment your list. If you want to send a campaign to your Twitter followers, consider using Social Profiles.
- Loading Tweet Trends data can take some time, so we'll send an email to the contact email address for your account when it's ready.
