Enable or Disable Final “Welcome” Email
This feature requires Manager user level or higher.
When you use MailChimp's signup forms, we require you to include the double opt-in process. Double opt-in lists have much higher engagement levels over time and are just good practice.
We can't turn off or otherwise disable the email that asks people to confirm their subscription to your list, but you can choose to enable or disable the Final "welcome" email, which is sent after someone clicks to confirm their subscription. By default, the Final "welcome" email is disabled.
In this article, you'll learn two ways to enable or disable your Final "welcome" email.
From General Forms
- Navigate to the Lists page.
- Click the drop-down menu next to the list you want to work with and choose

- Select General forms.
- Click the Forms and response emails drop-down menu, and choose Final "welcome" email.
- Check the box next to
Send a final welcome email to turn the final welcome email on, or uncheck the box to turn it off.

To view or edit the final "welcome" email, use the Form Builder.
