Use Text Content Blocks

The Text content block provides a lot of flexibility for adding content to your campaign. At the most basic, you can add information and links to Text blocks. But you can also use Text blocks to wrap text around an image, add your own custom social icons, and more.

For the same style choices but with the option to add a background color behind your text, use a Boxed Text block.

Insert the Text Block

  1. In the Content section of the Campaign Builder, click Edit Design.

  2. On the Design step, click and drag the Text block into your campaign layout.

  3. In the Content tab of the editing pane, add your text. If you paste in content from an outside source, like a website or word-processing program, use either the Paste as plain-text or Paste from Rich Text Editor option to prevent extra styling code from being added.

  4. Make changes in the Style and Settings tabs.
  5. Click Save & Close.

  1. In the Content section of the Campaign Builder, click Edit Design.

  2. On the Design step, click the Text block you want to edit.
  3. Change the style for the content block in the Style tab.

    Change these settings for all Text blocks in your campaign layout by checking the optional Apply To All Existing Text Blocks box.
  4. In the Settings tab, choose to make the content block two columns instead of one, and also set the width for each column by choosing one of the options under Column Split.

  5. Return to the Content tab to make any line-by-line styling changes, or use the toolbar to apply styling to just a few words in the content block.

    If you choose to set the Text block to two columns, you can toggle between the Column 1 and Column 2 tabs to add and edit content.

  6. Click Save & Close.

Ways to Use Text Blocks

  • Insert an image and set it to left or right alignment to wrap text around the image.
  • Create a four-column layout. To do this, select a two-column layout on the Template step, add a Text block to each column, and then set each block to two columns on the Settings tab, like we show above.
  • Use custom social icons instead of the default options provided in Social Follow and Social Share blocks. Upload your own custom-designed icons to a Text block, and link images appropriately.

      Link to the profiles of your social channels, such as facebook.com/examplename.

      Link using the following merge tags and links.
