What about the form I spent a lot of time designing?
The embed code is different from the one created at Lists > Forms. It's more of a mini form, with just a few options, designed to be placed within the design of another site in most cases.
If you prefer to use the fully-designed form that you've created, here's how:
- Log in to MailChimp.
- Click on Lists.
- Click on forms for the list you're working with.

- Click on the share it tab.
- Click on the Subscribe Form URL link to bring your form up in a separate window.

- In the browser window with your form, go to view > page source.

- Copy/paste this code into your website.
You'll notice right away that even though you're hosting the signup form, once people click the submit button, they're taken to our hosted "thank you" page. Some crafty MailChimp customers have either modified the code for those pages to match their look and feel, or they've replaced the code for those pages with redirect scripts, pointing back to their own hosted thank you pages.
