Whenever you create a list in MailChimp, we automatically generate a customizable signup form for that list. In addition to this full form that we host for you, we also provide code for small forms that you can embed on your website. Below we'll walk you through each of our form options and how to add them to your site.

Add Embed Form to your website

1. Navigate to the Lists page.
2. Click on the Gear drop down and select Forms.
3. Hover over the For Your Website drop down and select the Signup Form Embed Code option.
   
4. Select a form style: Super Slim Form, Classic Form, or Naked Form.
5. Click the Create Embed Code button to generate the code.
6. Copy all text in the copy/paste into your site box.
   
7. Paste the code into the appropriate location on your website.

Embed Form options

Super Slim Form

A simple form with only the email address field. If you have other required fields in your list, try one of the other options. Customizable options:

• Name your form and set the width, in pixels. By default, the form will expand to fit the area where the form code is placed.

Classic Form

A more robust form with additional customizable options:

• Show and specify the title for the embed form.
• Toggle between showing only required fields and showing all visible fields for your list.
• Show or hide groups on your embed form.
• Show or hide the indicator for required fields.
• Specify a width for your form; default will expand to fit the area where the form code is place.
• Additional options to Enhance Your Form include: turning on evil popup mode, disabling JavaScript for the form, including an archive link to view past campaigns sent to the list, including a MonkeyRewards link, and including a subscriber count chiclet. Click the i icon next to an option to see additional information.

Naked Form

Similar to the Classic Form, but with no CSS or JavaScript, allowing greater control and flexibility. Customizable options:

• Show and specify the title for the embed form.
• Toggle between showing only required fields and showing all visible fields for your list.
• Show or hide groups on your embed form.
• Show or hide the indicator for required fields.
• Specify a width for your form; default will expand to fit the area where the form code is place.
• Additional options to Enhance Your Form include: adding an archive link to view past campaigns sent to the list, including a MonkeyRewards link, and including a subscriber count chiclet. Click the i icon next to an option to see additional information.

Add the full form to your website

If you prefer to add the full form that you've created and designed instead of our smaller embed code forms, here's how:

1. Navigate to the Lists page.
2. Click on the Gear drop down and click on the Forms link.

3. Click on the Share It tab.
4. Click on the Subscribe Form URL link to bring up your form in a separate window.
   
5. In the new window or tab, right click and select your browser's page source option.
6. Copy/paste this code into your website.

Even though you've added the full form on your own website, once people click the submit button, they'll be direct to the MailChimp hosted Thank You page. If you'd rather keep people on your site, you can set the Thank You page to redirect to your website.
