There are a couple of ways to make Freddie disappear. You can temporarily hide our favorite chimp, or banish him forever with our Party Pooper Mode.
Temporarily Hide the Chimp
On the MailChimp dashboard, type hidefreddie to hide Freddie temporarily. Type showfreddie to bring him back. This would be useful if, for instance, your boss or client is not a fan of the whole talking Chimp thing (but you are awesome of course and LOVE him...LOVE HIM). You could quickly type hidefreddie and he'd go have a sammich or something for a while. When you need Freddie to come say hi again, showfreddie will summon him from sandwich land.
Use Your Own Branding
You can also use our co-branding options to use upload your own logo instead of seeing the talking chimp. This will keep humor in the account, but remove Freddie from the dashboard.
Party Pooper
Or if you really really need to turn Freddie off forever, or if you don't like having fun, you can go to Account > My Defaults > Party Pooper Mode and select Disable MailChimp Personality to send Freddie on a permanent sandwich quest and remove any funny talk from the app.
