Adding Fields
To add a field to your signup form, go to Lists > forms > build it. There, you'll see the many field options available to you. See Examples.
Changing Field Names
Here's how you change a field label:
- Mouse over the field in your design and click into the yellow highlight.

- On the right side, in the field settings, change the text for the field label.

- Click save to save your updated settings.

Auto-Design
When you choose the auto-design option in your signup forms, we'll head over to your website to try to fetch colors, fonts, and images to help you quickly create forms that match your website or branding. Learn More.
Headers/Logo
To add a header or logo to your signup form, mouse over the top block of your form and you'll see the options for add, design header and use text. Add will let you upload a pre-designed logo. Design header will help you create a header using our stock images and adding text. Use text will let you add your company name or any other intro text you'd like people to see.
While technically your signup form logo can be any size, it's best to keep in mind the size of the website or page where your form will be displayed. 600px wide is always a good standard.
Styles & Colors
The Style Designer works the same way for signup forms as it does for campaigns. If you're at Lists > forms > design it, you'll see options for which part of the signup process you want to customize, translation options, and options to change the colors and text styles of your signup form. Also, on the right hand side, you'll see several pre-designed color themes that you can choose.

So, for instance, if you want to change the background color of your signup form, you'll choose Page > Background > and then click on the hex code box to bring up your color options.

On each option in the style designer, we'll give you a tip for how to use that particular setting.

Embed Code
If you're looking for a smaller form to add to the side columns in your website or blog, you'll want to use the embed code. You can access this code by going to Lists > forms > share it > create html code for small subscribe form.

We have 3 styles of embed forms to choose from.
- The Super Slim Form is the simplest form featuring only a field for an email address and a submit button.
- The Classic Form is a fully extendable small form that can be built to include all of your form fields or you can pick and choose which fields are displayed.
- The Naked Form has no CSS styling or Javascript validation included in the code.
The Options button next to the form title displays all the customization options for the small form selected.
Notes
If you're adding your signup form to your Facebook page, we automatically resize it for you to fit into Facebook's template. When you add a signup form to your Facebook page, you can also select the theme you'd like to use for your signup form. If you choose My List's Theme, your signup form will look like the your designed MailChimp signup form. If you select Facebook-esque, your signup form will blend more into Facebook's overall look. You can change your signup form style in Facebook by going to edit info > Apps > Go To App.
If you want to use the same design for multiple lists, click replicate on the Lists page for your original list. The form fields and form design will be replicated to a new list.
