A Permission Reminder is a blurb in your campaign that reminds your recipients how they signed up for your list. This could be something like "You're receiving this campaign because you signed up at www.mailchimp.com" or "You're receiving this campaign because you signed up at my recent art show at GalleryX."
If you're unsure of how to write out your Permission Reminder check out our advice on what makes a good permission reminder.
MailChimp automatically inserts your Permission Reminder into all our built-in templates for you with the *|LIST:DESCRIPTION|* tag.
