You might need to import an HTML template because you coded your own with  MailChimp's template language, or because you exported a template for editing are ready to get it back into your account. In this article, you'll learn how to import an HTML template to MailChimp.

Import an HTML Template

  1. Save your template as an HTML file on your computer.
  2. Navigate to the Templates page.
  3. Click the Create Template button.

  4. Click the Code Your Own tab.

  5. In the Import HTML pop-up modal, name your template and click Browse to locate the HTML file on your computer.
  6. Select your template HTML file and click Upload to add the file to your MailChimp account.
